Absinthe is a character in Shadowrun: Dragonfall.

Background[]

Something about the young elf behind the counter makes your breath catch in your chest. She's lovely to look at, but it's a strange kind of beauty; her eyes are large and luminous and impossibly green. As she looks up at you, you can see that her irises are flecked with iridescent gold.

She could be actually Aina Dupree (Harlequin saved Aina from an addiction to Absinthe in the 19th century, hence the pseudonym). However, and much more likely, she's a powerful wild spirit. Absinthe calls herself a "child of the astral plane, wild and free." Her astral form supports that notion.

Interactions[]

Upon first visiting Absinthe, you will be mesmerized by her eyes - the flurry of golden flakes in an alien sea. It takes Willpower 4 to resist the initial enchantment (for +1 karma), 6 if you let curiosity get the better of you.
Absinthe has a prophetic gift and will occasionally provide insight into your future.
Absinthe forewarns of a looming threat, a 'leviathan' in comparison to the 'sharks' you face now. This is a possible reference to Horrors of the 4th dimension
