Synopsis

Help Bullied Merchant is a sidequest in the Shadowrun Returns Campaign.

While journeying through the Redmond Barrens you will encounter a Worried Man north of the entrance to Organ Grinders. The man wants you to stop a local gang from harassing and extorting merchants in the area. Speak to him to begin the quest.

Walkthrough

• The worried man wants you to stop a gang from harassing merchants in the area, you can find them in the plaza north of your starting point.
• Go and speak to the Head Thug where several conversation options allow you to potentially finish the quest in a non-violent manner.
  • If you have Etiquette: Gang skill, you can force the gang to leave the market without a fight.
  • If your character has Strength of at least 4, you can intimidate them. This will give you 200 nuyen or they will give it back to merchants.
  • The third option from the top allows you to pay 300 nuyen of tribute, so the gang will leave without a fight.
• Alternatively you can choose to kill both thugs, neither of which poses much threat.
• After dealing with the gang, one way or another, speak to the bullied merchant.
• Depending on which option you chose above, she may reward you with 48 Nuyen or simply her thanks. Either way you earn 1 KP.
